Had such an amazing and personal experience! The owner treated us like we were at home. Cuban sandwich was the best I've ever had (and I'm from Miami). Very quaint and his hot sauce and pico are on point! We tried the ham croquettes, beef empanadas and Cuban sandwich.

We were immediately welcomed not only by whom I presume is the owner, but also the customers. This is the place where everybody knows your name as they knew everyone who walked through the door. The establishment is not big at all so make yourself comfortable! We ordered breakfast sandwiches to go and they were accompanied by delicious cafesitos. If you want a truly "at home welcome" you should definitely stop here!

It is across the street (across Atlantic) from the big brand new gas station that was rebuilt on the corner lot between A1A and Atlantic. Vargas is on the corner of Madison Ave and N. Atlantic.
